ABOUT SHIHAN MOHSEN DELDARI

In 1975, Mohsen Deldari started Karate in Tehran, Iran. He was a member of Iran Karate National Team for more than 10 years in different categories. Since 1990, he has been teaching Karate at national and international levels. As a national coach, he was fortunate enough to lead his team in South Africa and proudly gained 45 medals as well as in Thailand with 31 medals. He was also an elected coach and participant in 7th Global Karate championships held in Richmond, BC.

He is currently a senior member of International Karate-Do Gojukai Association (IKGA) and member of Karate Canada (KC) and Ontario Karate Federation (OKF).

 

HIGHLIGHTS OF PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

  • In 1993 competed for Iran National Team IKGA First World Karate Championships in Japan, placing in the top 5
  • In 2000 won a Silver medal in plus 80Kg in the Asian-Pacific Championships IKGA hold in Singapore
  • In 2001 won a Bronze medal in 3rd World Karate Championships IKGA hold in Australia in Men’s Kumite
  • In 2004 awarded a Go Dan Rank (5th degree Black Belt)
  • In 2011 awarded title of Shihan-Renshi (Master’s Title) by IKGA Japan
  • In 2016 awarded Coaching certificate by IKGA Canada
  • In 2017 won a Gold Medal in 7th Global Karate Championships, Richmond, BC
  • In 2017 completed Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE) in 4:31
  • In 2018 received HIGHFIVE (Healthy Mind for Healthy Children) certificate of training
  • In 2019 received NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) for Mental Skills
